Charles M. Nadeau
Charles M. Nadeau is a writer and organizational accountability professional whose work examines how institutions respond to failure, responsibility, and the erosion—or restoration—of public trust. His perspective is shaped by more than three decades operating inside complex, high-reliability systems where legal, ethical, operational, and human consequences converge under pressure.
A military veteran and senior aerospace quality executive, Nadeau has led global teams across defense and commercial aviation environments governed by FAA and DoD regulatory frameworks. He has directed enterprise-level quality transformations, strengthened AS9100 and AS9145 systems, guided supplier recovery across international supply chains, and led high-visibility investigations requiring disciplined governance and executive judgment.
His career has centered on stabilizing organizations during moments of exposure, rebuilding credibility with customers and regulators, and restoring operational control where systems have fractured.
Through both his leadership and his writing, Nadeau focuses on institutional accountability, leadership under constraint, and the limitations of procedural compliance in addressing moral harm. He explores the tension between formal systems and human responsibility, examining where governance succeeds, where it fails, and what disciplined leadership requires when trust is compromised.
He is the Founder and Principal of C.M. Nadeau Advisory Group, a veteran-owned consultancy supporting aerospace and defense organizations in regulatory compliance, supplier governance, and quality culture development.
Nadeau holds undergraduate degrees in Business Quality Management and Human Resource Development from Southwestern College, as well as a Master of Business Administration. He is certified by the American Society for Quality as a Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence and Certified Supplier Quality Professional, among other credentials. His work draws on formal training, military discipline, executive leadership, and firsthand engagement with governance and accountability structures operating under scrutiny.
